TMHA Annual Convention Next Week - Still on, and Going Strong

TMHA’s 2017 Annual Convention is still on for next week. We have received several calls asking if convention is still happening. The answer is a definitive, yes.

In fact, this year’s convention is shaping up as one of the largest, most highly attended conventions in years. To date, we have more than 270 total attendees coming to the Four Seasons, Las Colinas next week (September 10-12). Our robust education platform offers a vast area of topics with 23 speakers from all over the country. And we are exceedingly grateful for our generous 25 convention sponsors helping us with this year’s event.

The hotel has been completely sold out for weeks now, but we are still taking registrations for our education sessions. We will also have walk-up registration available, but at the increased rate of $200.

Finally, TMHA is trying to arrange at the last minute some additional resources related to Hurricane Harvey recovery efforts. At a minimum, we expect the industry’s role in recovery to be the major topic at the Board of Directors meeting a week from today.
