We will be running three sessions simultaneously all day long on our main education day, Monday, September 11.  This is why in the schedule below you will see multiple presentations in the same time spots.  Our comprehensive offerings this year address all aspects of the manufactured housing retail, financing, insurance, and community industries in Texas.  We have curriculum tailored for community owners and investors, but also a track focused on day-to-day operations and best practices.  For our retailers we have sales training and tips, new ideas for selling homes in a modern world leveraging technology, and reading body language.

Community Investor/Owner: Expand your existing community, break ground on a new development, what you need to know before the first shovel hits the ground - Todd Lamb with Park Asset Management leads a panel discussion on expansion efforts and new community developments in Texas

Retailer: All About the Lending - Dick Ernst of Financial Marketing Associates will lead you through the recent developments in government loan programs so you know what is available and what is to come so more consumers can buy more of your homes

Community Investor/Owner: Water, Water Everywhere - Learn from an industry expert and leader, Brice London of Manage America how to properly submeter the utilities in your community

Retailer/: Selling MH in the Modern World - Braustin Mobile Homes' Alberto Pina will introduce you to new ideas, new techniques and technologies to sell MH in todays markets and the markets of the future

12 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Jan Hargrave - Strictly Business Body Language Take advantage of the secrets of nonverbal communication for that extra edge of confidence to overcome buyer resistance, increase sales and boost profits. Strictly Business Body Language gives you the answers and the rules of nonverbal selling power.

EVENING ENTERTAINMENT

7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Chairman’s Dinner at Four Seasons Las Colinas with entertainment by Comedian Dean Lewis

Dean Lewis has appeared on Last Comic Standing, CNN, The Ellen Degeneres Show and he is the winner of the Wendy’s Clean Comedy Challenge. Dean has also won an Emmy for writing. He has sold material to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and to Ron White.  He has over 25 years experience working in the corporate market.  Dean also was a part of the Jagger Show on DFW morning radio for 8 years before deciding to get some sleep and commit full time to performing in the corporate world.

9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Cup of Coffee with Joe - Listen to Joe Garcia, Executive Director of the MH Division of TDHCA on all the latest updates from the top regulator in the state

9:45 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Washington D.C. comes to the Four Seasons - Republicans, Democrats, CFPB, HUD, Dodd-Frank, Preserving Manufactured Housing Act and the action from our nation's capitol from MHI's General Counsel/Sr. VP State & Local Affairs, Rick Robinson

10:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. S.O.L Be Gone!  TMHA Fights the Cities and wins the Community Right to Replace Law - The action packed 2017 Texas Legislative Session ended in June, hear from TMHA's Executive Director, DJ Pendleton on the industry progress, new laws and tales from a Texas Session for the record books

11 a.m. – 12 p.m. TMHA Fourth Quarter Board Meeting
