TMHA Sponsoring Texas Municipal League Annual Conference & HUD-Code Home Display

For the first time ever, TMHA will sponsor and showcase a HUD-code manufactured home at the Texas Municipal League (TML) Annual Conference this November in San Antonio. TML’s three-day Annual Conference is one of the largest gatherings of local government officials in Texas and typically draws several thousand attendees from cities across the state. Reported attendance has ranged from approximately 3,000 – 4,500 attendees, delegates, and exhibitors.

Champion Homes will be bringing a home for display as part of our industry’s continued efforts to directly engage and educate Texas city leaders, planners, attorneys, staff, and policy makers.

With S.B. 785 becoming law, TMHA is actively working to help local officials better understand modern manufactured housing and encourage greater inclusion of HUD-code homes within Texas city zoning and housing policies. We believe firsthand exposure to today’s homes is one of the best ways to change perceptions and continue opening doors for manufactured housing across Texas.
