Texas Manufactured Housing Sales in January 2019
January
Titles for new homes sales in January were down -8.1% from December, but up 11.7% from January of 2018. The year-over-year growth came from both single-section (+7.5%) and multi-section (+15.8%) home sales, and multi-sections out sold single-section homes for the second straight month in a row.

Ector for the third month in a row was once again the top county for new home installations. Harris, Montgomery, and Bexar all moved up one spot from their positions last month. Midland County dropped out of the top five and Travis moved up into the fifth spot.

February Preliminary Data
The preliminary data for new home sales in February looks really good with a 22.6% increase over January and a 34.3% increase over February of 2018. Multi-section home sales are again outpacing single-section homes.
