September 2017 Shipment Report
Multi-section and single-section shipments moved down a combined -5.3% in September from August. The 1,346 homes shipped however, was 20% higher than September of 2016, so if Harvey had an impact on shipments it was a modest one.
Year to date shipments are up 18% over 2016 and with long backlogs being reported from retailers and manufacturers alike combined with Q4 of 2016 being a relatively weak three months for shipments, I expect additional year-over-year growth as we move into the last three months of the year.
