New titles for November moved up 1.7% over October’s total at this point last month, but in the weeks since the last report release October has been revised up by 131 homes, so unless there’s a similarly large upward revision there’s a good chance that sales in November were actually a little lower than October. If it holds after revisions, November will be the first month in 2017 where multi-section titles came in above single-section.
Compared to November of 2016, new titles were up 15.5%, and several counties impacted by Hurricane Harvey saw increased activity including all top five counties for installations on the month.
On the year, both single-section and multi-section titles for new homes are up.
Next month’s release will close out 2017 reporting, and December is tracking -6% down from November, and 4.6% up from December of 2016.
