May 2018 Shipment Report
Shipments in May were up 0.3% over April with multi-section units rising by 12.1%, and single-section units falling 8.7% from their April totals.
The total of 1,542 homes shipped for the month was up 8.6% from May of 2017 with increases for both single-section (6.3%) and multi-section homes (11.2%).
Texas manufacturing plants increased production over April by 2.9% and over May of 2017 by 9.9%, hitting a total of 1,935 homes built.
Out of state plants shipped in 103 homes to the state, which was 32 more homes than were brought in last month.
