New titles for August moved up 5.9% over July and 29.7% over August of 2017. An expansion in single-section home sales of 9.5% over July and 36.4% over last year led the way, while multi-section sales logged a 1.8% increase over the preceding calendar month and a 22.3% increase over last year.

The top five counties for new home installations changed with Midland jumping in and all the way up to the top spot with a 196% increase over July’s installs. The rest of the counties in the top five saw month-over-month increases except for Ector which still landed in the fifth spot despite a -28.9% decrease in installations.
