TMHA Retailer and Two-Time Former Chairman, Karl Radde, Receives National Award

We would like to join in on all the well-deserved congratulations to Texas retailer and two-time TMHA Chairman of the Board, Karl Radde’s, recent national award from MHI.  MHI Chairman and president and CEO of CAVCO Industries, Inc., Bill Boor, selected Karl to receive this year’s MHI 2024 Chairman’s Award. 

The Chairman’s Award honors individuals for their exceptional leadership, service, and commitment to MHI.

Karl was recognized for his years of service to our industry at both the state and federal level.  Specifically at the national level, he serves as the 2024 chair of the Manufactured Housing Educational Institute and vice chair of MHI’s Federated States Board of Governors and the National Retailers Council. He remains our TMHA certified representative to MHI, a position he has held since 2012.

Karl also continues to serve on TMHA’s Executive Board, and is currently the only two-time TMHA chairman, each of which comes with a seven-year commitment.  With the additional year added on to board terms following COVID, when Karl’s full terms are completed, he will have served for 15 straight years on TMHA’s executive board as either an officer or past chairman.
